1. Krishna Balaram Mandir, Vrindavan 

Sri Sri Krishna Balarama Mandir is also known as ISKCON Temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and his elder brother Balarama. This temple has been built at the place where Lord Krishna and Balram ji spent their childhood. This temple is located in Vrindavan under the Mathura district of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. This temple was built by Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in 1975. This temple is made of white marble stones with very beautiful carvings on it.

This temple of Vrindavan is opened at 4:00 am and closes at 12:00 pm. Again it is opened at 4:00 pm and closed at 8:00 pm. No entry fee is charged to visit this temple, you can roam here for free. The nearest railway station to this temple is Vrindaban Road, from where the distance of this temple is 5 km. To reach here, you can take any vehicle from the nearest railway station.

3. Nidhivan, Vrindavan

Nidhivan is also known as Tulsi Van. It is one of the holy places of Vrindavan. Nidhivan is dedicated to the pastimes of Shri Krishna and his companions and gopis. Devotees have a belief that Nidhivan watches Krishna and Radha's dance and Rasleela at night, so no one is allowed to stay here at night. Many Tulsi trees are found in Nidhivan in pairs which are wrapped around each other. Apart from Tulsi plants, there is also a temple named Rang Mahal here. It is believed that Krishna-Radha used to come here to rest at night after Rasleela.

The Mystery of Nidhivan: Nidhivan is considered to be one of the places in the mystery of Vrindavan. The secret here is that even after the bark of the tree is hollow and the ground is completely dry, the trees and plants here remain green throughout the year. It is a common belief here that Tulsi plants take the form of Gopis to perform Rasleela at night. All the Tulsi plants in the complex are found in pairs which represent the pair of Radha Krishna.

Nidhivan is also located in Vrindavan, its nearest railway station is Vrindavan Road Railway Station. Nidhivan remains open from 5:00 am to 8:00 pm and remains closed from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Entry to Nidhivan is also free.

4. Maa Vaishno Devi Dham

Maa Vaishno Devi Dham is located at some distance from Prem Mandir. This temple is dedicated to Maa Durga. A 141 feet high idol of Maa Durga has been made in this temple. The nine forms of Mother Goddess have been beautifully depicted in this temple. This temple is built in 11 acres. In this temple we get to see Darshan Gufa, Langar Hall, Free Dispensary, Spiritual Hall and Library. This temple has been established by J.C Chowdhary. The construction of this temple was started in 2003 and this temple was completed in May 2010. There is also an ashram here where you can stay.

5. Shree Dwarkadhish Temple 

Shri Dwarkadhish Temple is situated in Rajadhiraj Bazar of Mathura Nagar. This is one of the oldest and largest temples in Uttar Pradesh. This temple is known for its cultural splendor, art and beauty. Every year in the month of Sawan, lakhs of devotees come here to see the gold and silver carousels from far and wide. Presently the structure of this temple was built by Seth Gokul Das Parikh. The construction of this temple was started in 1814-15 by the treasurer of Gwalior state, Set Gokuldas Parikh, who died in the middle of the construction of the temple. Later Seth Laxmichandra, the successor of the property of Seth Gokuldas Parikh, completed the construction of this temple. Shri Dwarkadhish Temple remains open from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm.

6. Kusum Sarovar 

Kusum Sarovar is a holy water reservoir dedicated to Radha Krishna. There is also a historical sand monument here. It is situated on the holy Govardhan Hill between Mansi Ganga and Radha Kund in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, India. There is also Narad Kund in Kusum Sarovar where Bhakti Sutra verses were written by Narad. Till the year 1675, Kusum Sarovar was a natural pond which was constructed by Raja Veer Singh. In the middle of the 18th century, Raja Jawahar Singh of Bharatpur got a sandstone monument built here in honor of his father Surajmal. It is believed that Kusum Sarovar is from the era of Radha Krishna.

The Kusum Sarovar Ghat is 450 feet long and 60 feet deep. The walls that surround the pond are 60 meters deep. This pond is surrounded by forests with different types of flowers on all sides. Kusum Sarovar is one of the important tourist places of Vrindavan, Mathura. Pilgrims from all over the country and abroad come to the lake to see the magnificent structures around the lake and the beautiful paintings depicting the life of Krishna and his pastimes with Radha. 7. Keshi Ghat, Vrindavan 

Keshi Ghat was built by Rani Lakshmi Devi of Bharatpur in the centenary of the region. This ghat is located in the middle of Vrindavan to the east of Chir Ghat. Lord Krishna killed a demon named Keshi here who was sent by Kansa, hence the place is named Kisi Ghat. Keshi Ghat is thronged by tourists to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. Lakhs of tourists come here to get their pictures clicked and to see the beautiful art works of Krishna from far and wide. This ghat remains open from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM on all seven days of the week.

8. Shree Krishna Janmasthan

Krishna Janmasthan Temple is the place where Lord Krishna appeared and where he was born. Through stories and legends Lord Krishna was born in the prison of a king named Kansa who was the maternal uncle of Lord Krishna. There is a temple near the entrance of the jail where Ashtabhuja Maa Yogmaya appeared. This temple has been destroyed several times in history. After the death of Gokul Jat in 1670, it was destroyed by the Mughal invader Aurangzeb and he built the Idgah Mosque there which still stands today.

In the 20th century, the Keshav Dev Temple, the Garbhagriha Temple at the birthplace and the Bhagwat Bhawan, new temple complexes were built with the financial help of industrialists. There are many temples around this temple which are related to Lord Krishna. The temple remains open from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM and closes from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on all days of the week.

9. Vishram Ghat 

Vishram Ghat is located in Naya Bazar, 30 meters from Dwarkadhish Temple in Mathura. It is one of the major ghats among the 25 ghats of Mathura. There are 12 ghats in the north and 12 ghats in the south of this ghat. Saints made Vishram Ghat their penance place and resting place. A very beautiful temple of Yamuna Maharani is situated at this place. It is believed that Lord Krishna took rest at this place after killing Kansa, hence the name Vishram Ghat. Two floor architectural structure is also located here. Lakhori brick and lime, red and sandstone have been used to make it. It is open all the time, seven days a week.
